David Norman

avid Norman has joined the team at PoDDSS as a support coordinator. David’s diverse working background spans from Construction, Mining and Government Administration where he obtained high levels of knowledge in business data and analysis, scheduling, workplace health and safety and wellbeing, to individual support coordination, stakeholder engagement and mental health.

Having Lived in the Townsville region most of his life, David brings with him a rich and diverse knowledge of the different services and support opportunities available in the community for every client and family he meets.

avid has worked for both Government and Non-Government organisations, and built-up great partnerships across both sectors, David brings with him a balanced lens over strategic governance and health support systems across the community. David is keen to expand on this broad knowledge of health systems to supporting clients and their families.

Every day is a fresh opportunity for exploring different ideas, concepts, and client pathways for David, with new people to meet and adventures to be had. Understanding that no single approach is the right one for every individual, David has a great passion for turning ‘out of the box’ ideas into problem solving tangible plans for his clients.

In his spare time, David likes to surround himself with his family and friends. Some of David’s favourite things to do are fishing, camping, or exploring the North Queensland Country. Not that Dave admits it, but he is also pretty handy in the kitchen and the team at PoDDSS have given him a five-star rating for banana loaf.
