ue is North Queensland born and a Townsville local, therefore equipped with knowledge of appropriate services available to meet individuals’ requirements. A skilled coalition builder with multi-cultural experience gained through work history in the multi-disciplined field.
Sue has a strong focus upon delivering support services to individuals, that fosters dignity and facilitates independence for their well-being. Sue does this by listening to the person and their support network recognising that they are the experts in their own lives.
Whilst working in Disabilities, Sue completed a Bachelor of Social Science, with a Double Major in Psychology & Criminology. Her role as a Positive Behaviour Support Coordinator previously, included: developing PBSPs sensitive to and demonstrative of Individual needs, preparation of PBSPs at a legal standard for Tribunal Hearings / Guardian for Restrictive Practices; and delivering Restrictive Practices Training to on-boarding staff.
