Adult Social Skills Program


10-week program (once per week) for Adults 18+ which aims to teach the necessary skills to make friends, build relationships and communicate confidently with others.

The group is run by a Psychologist with experience in working with people that have difficulties with initiating and responding to social situations and who uses various modalities to optimise learning opportunities, including, group discussion, visual resources and role play. The groups are a small size, to allow for a suitable learning environment.

10 Week programs run every School term

**Group therapy relies on participation and engagement from all participants, the more you become involved, the more likely you will benefit. Missed sessions can affect the group atmosphere which is an important component of group therapy, therefore, a commitment from the participant to attend every session is required. With the exception of emergencies or sickness, cancellation without 24 hour notice will incur a cancellation fee in line with NDIS guidelines and PODDSS policy**
